After the Bologna Centrale station bombing, the blast stopped the clock at 10:25am on August 2, 1980. It was never repaired.

Presently

After the Bologna Centrale station bombing, the blast stopped the clock at 10:25am on August 2, 1980. But it was quickly repaired and continued functioning until 1996. It was then left broken and the hands were symbolically set to 10:25am.
